Marc Difronzo
Marc Difronzo is a former Special Operations veteran turned Physician Assistant, bringing mission-driven discipline, precision, and a performance-focused mindset to medicine. His clinical background has shaped the way he approaches patient care today, blending traditional medicine, regenerative therapies, functional health, performance optimization, and patient education into a comprehensive, individualized model.
After graduating from PA school, he began his career in geriatric medicine, where he gained a strong foundation in chronic disease management, medication use, and the realities of caring for an aging population. That experience opened his eyes to how often patients remain on long-term medications without regular reassessment, and how difficult it can be for both patients and providers to step back and ask whether every medication is still necessary, beneficial, or aligned with the patient's current goals. It helped shape his belief that medicine should not only manage disease, but also continually reevaluate, educate, and empower patients to better understand their health.
From there, Marc spent five years in orthobiologics and regenerative musculoskeletal medicine, where he developed a strong appreciation for conservative, non-surgical treatment options beyond the traditional cycle of NSAIDs, corticosteroid injections, and surgery. He worked extensively with therapies such as platelet-rich plasma, shockwave therapy, rehabilitation strategies, and other modalities designed to support healing and improve function. While no treatment works for everyone, he saw firsthand how powerful it can be when patients are given access to options that support recovery, mobility, and quality of life.
That journey eventually led him into performance optimization and longevity medicine, where he found a patient population that was highly proactive, curious, and invested in their own health. Many people are used to sitting in a medical visit and simply being told what to do, often judging their health only by whether their labs or vitals are "controlled" by medication. Marc's goal is to help shift that dynamic. He believes patients should understand their options, ask better questions, and take an active role in the direction of their health.
At Koniver Wellness, where he has practiced for over a year, Marc works daily with patients seeking individualized optimization strategies, including customized peptide protocols, hormone replacement therapy, regenerative approaches, and other performance-based modalities tailored to their goals, needs, and clinical picture. His approach is rooted in education, transparency, and shared decision-making. He aims to provide patients with access to meaningful information, including what is supported by clinical research, what is emerging, and what is based on real-world clinical experience and patient feedback.
Marc does not see himself as the captain of the patient's ship. He sees himself as a guide, someone who helps patients understand the terrain, identify potential paths forward, and make informed decisions that align with the life they want to live. Whether the goal is improved performance, longevity, recovery, hormone balance, or overall quality of life, his goal is helping individuals become stronger, healthier, and more capable advocates for their own health.
